★ Base Set
The original 102-card English Pokémon TCG set. Three print runs (1st Edition, Shadowless, Unlimited). The single most valuable mainstream-printed Pokémon set; the Shadowless 1st Edition Charizard is the holy grail.
🌿 Jungle
Second English set. Holo and non-holo versions of every rare. 1st Edition Jungle Holos remain the affordable entry into vintage WOTC PSA 10s.
🦴 Fossil
Third English set. Featured Aerodactyl, Lapras, and the first card-back-style Mysterious Fossil/Old Amber items. Solid PSA 10 chase pool.
✦ Neo Genesis
Generation 2 debut. Lugia is the chase; even Unlimited Lugia PSA 10s have crossed five figures repeatedly.
🐉 Evolving Skies
The modern crown jewel. Eeveelution VMAX Alt Arts (Umbreon especially) became the most-searched modern Pokémon cards on the planet. Sealed booster boxes have appreciated 5–10× since release.
① Scarlet & Violet 151
Modern Kanto throwback set. Charizard ex Special Illustration Rare became the modern chase. Japanese 'Pokémon 151' booster boxes are now its own micro-market.
日 Japanese Base Set (1996)
The original 1996 Japanese release — three years before English Base Set. 'No-Rarity' first prints (no circle/diamond/star mark) are the holy grail.
